Welcome to the official website of
Downshire Brass, one of Northern Ireland’s premier brass bands.
The band is based in Belfast, Northern
Ireland and
has entertained audiences both locally and internationally over the
years, having been formed in 1990 by the amalgamation of the
Hillsborough and Reid Memorial Silver bands.
Our musical repertoire contains
everything from the traditional brass band march, to big band, the
classics and modern-day music from the likes of Robbie Williams and
Disney.
We can provide a full brass band or
smaller ensemble to suit every occasion, be it a wedding
celebration, leading the praise at a church service, background
music at a garden party or a joint concert with a choir or operatic
society.
