Contested in the North of England Brass Band Contest in Buxton in May and
although not being placed, nevertheless this was found to be a very rewarding
experience.

the1994/5 contesting period. This was based on the successes in the NIBA and
BBL Contests together with those results achieved at the Annual Solos &
Quartets Competitions across all Brass Sections within the Northern Ireland
Bands scene. This achievement was due in no small way to the efforts of the
Junior Band.
