A Benefit Concert for Christian Aid
Join Downshire Brass for an inspirational evening of music and song with over 100 singers and musicians! Held at Belfast’s iconic Ulster Hall, Stand Together is a one-off benefit concert for Christian Aid. The evening will be filled with uplifting music performed by a range of groups and performers from across Northern Ireland.
This is an ideal event to invite friends and family to for a great evening out. Plus, you’ll learn a little about Christian Aid's inspiring vision to end poverty.

Teams with up to eight members can enter. Don't worry if you can't rustle up that many people, we'll soon find you a team.
There will also be a raffle and tombola on the night with some fantastic prizes to be won.

An ensemble from Downshire Brass will be joining the congregation of Greencastle Methodist Church for their annual Christingle service. Everyone is welcome.
The Band will be back in action at the Queen's University Festival of Brass contest in the Whitla Hall. We look forward to seeing lots of our friends and supporters at our performance in the evening. The whole day promises to be a great showcase of music-making.
Members of Downshire Brass mark the arrival of Santa at Belfast's Park Centre!
Santa is coming to the Park Centre! Join Buddy the Elf and Elsa and Hans from Frozen to welcome Santa to the centre on Thursday 16th November. The Downshire Brass Band will be providing all of our favourite Christmas tunes, and Buddy, Hans and Elsa will be joining us for a sing-a-long and plenty of photographs!
Santa will open his grotto at 7pm, and the best part is, it’s FREE!
Come along with the family to Hillsborough Castle to enjoy Downshire Brass contribute to the Vintage weekend. As well as the band, you will have a chance to watch a traditional Punch & Judy show, try your hand at some vintage crafts and games or venture out on a gardens trail to find out what was happening at the Castle during the 1950s. Bring a picnic, enjoy the grounds and wear your best vintage outfit.
A unique opportunity to hear Downshire Brass in Donegal performing an exciting programme of works from stage and screen, classical transcriptions, jazz standards and popular music. The concert will take place in Rossnakill Tourism & Activity Centre, Rossnakill, within easy reach of places like Portsalon, Rathmullan and Carrigart.

Downshire Brass will be performing at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park on Sunday 23 July 2017 on the final day of the hugely popular Rose Week. The international Rose Garden at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park is one of the world’s leading rose gardens, attracting thousands of visitors each year. Rose Week, with its full programme of activities, is a celebration of this spectacular rose garden and is now one of Belfast’s most popular annual events.
