Brass Band Northern Ireland head back to Omagh for their Spring Festival Contest. Bands will present own-choice test pieces across the day. It is always a great of music-making and Downshire Brass are looking forward to being back on stage in the Strule Arts Centre.

Just us for the debut performance by our new Community Band. This short performance will enable the group to showcase its talents after only a few weeks in existence! After the performance there will be a chance to mingle with the players and their friends and families and members of Downshire Brass as we mark this important milestone.

Hear our brass ensemble lead the Christmas carols at Moneyreagh Community Church.

After a number of hugely popular carol services at Killowen Parish Church in Coleraine in recent years, we are bringing the whole brass band to the town to help the festive season!

Tonight’s event will be extra special with the inaugural performance by our new ensemble: ‘Couch to Concert 2025’ is a unique ensemble of adult musicians who have come together to learn to play in a brass band and prepare a concert for the first time.

Following on from last year’s wonderful event, we are excited to return to Down Cathedral on 29 November with our exciting Christmas programme with special guests St Colmcille's Primary School Choir & the fabulous vocal soloist, Ruth Jennings.

Our annual and highly enjoyable duty in welcoming Santa to the Kennedy Centre in West Belfast! (exact performance time is TBC - it all depends on the artic winds!)

Downshire Brass will be joining the congregation of Malone Presbyterian Church for their  Annual Service of Remembrance.

The annual North of Ireland Band Association competition in Armagh’s Market Place Theatre. Members of Downshire Brass are looking forward to participating in one of the most important contests in the calendar of banding events.

The Big Brass Boogie: 1970s Hits Reloaded!

We are delighted to be invited back to Culture Night Belfast, bringing our amazing 1970s programme to Cathedral Gardens at 7pm and City Hall at 8pm!

The Band will be kick-starting the 2025 Antrim Half Marathon with a celebratory performance at the starting hub to mark the beginning of the race.

Slieve Gullion will host Downshire Brass for an afternoon of movie and TV music. Do join us with a picnic for a fun-filled afternoon.

Donations of £10 per person would be gratefully received. All proceeds are in support of the Church renovation fund.
